OUR STORY

Hailing from Preston, Lancashire in Northwest UK, The Amber List’s sound is a classic indie, guitar driven one, high on melody, peppered with harmonies and touched with atmospherics. Many have likened them to Doves, REM and Echo and the Bunnymen, and it’s fair to say you can hear the influence of such bands in their songs.

All three members of the band have flirted with the limelight in the past, with previous releases on Virgin and Action records and supporting the likes of The Stone Roses, Gene, Hard-fi, The Saw Doctors and Bronski Beat.

With a recent nomination for 'Best Indie Band' from a major internet radio station and several highly acclaimed eps and album tracks getting permanent rotation on many indie stations globally The Amber List make serious music for discerning listeners.

Mick Shepherd: Lead vocals, bass
Tony Cornwell : Guitars, backing vocals atmospheres, racket
Simon Dewhurst: Drums, percussion, backing vocals
